Created in 2009, Wildside<\/strong> has produced award-winning films with talents such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Marco Bellocchio<\/strong>, and Saverio Costanzo<\/strong>, participating in the most important industry festivals in Europe (Cannes, Venice, Berlin<\/em>). Wildside<\/strong> is part of Fremantle<\/em><\/strong>, one of the largest creators, producers and distributors of television products in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company has also produced many successful comedies, including \u201cMafia only kills in summer\u201c <\/em>by Pif, which won the European Film Award for Best Comedy in 2014, and \u201cLike a cat on a highway\u201c <\/em>by Riccardo Milani, starring the comedic duo Paola Cortellesi and Antonio Albanese, which was the most-watched Italian film of 2018. In 2022, Wildside<\/strong> has produced \u201cThe Eight mountains\u201c <\/em>by Felix van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch, which won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and the David di Donatello for Best Film. In 2023, it has produced the most-watched film of the year, a box-office and critical success, \u201cThere\u2019s still tomorrow,\u201d<\/em> Paola Cortellesi’s directorial debut. In 2024, it co-produced the film “A World Apart”<\/em> by Riccardo Milani, \u201cFinally Dawn\u201d<\/em> by Saverio Costanzo and \u201cLimonov\u201d<\/em>, by Kirill Serebrennikov.\u00a0\u00a0In 2025, among others, \u201cThe forbidden city\u201c<\/em> by Gabriele Mainetti, “Una Famiglia Sottosopra”<\/em> by Alessandro Genovesi, “Paternal Leave,”<\/em> Alissa Jung’s directorial debut and winner of the AG Kino-Gilde – Cinema Vision 14plus Award at the Berlin Film Festival, and \u201cThe eyes of others\u201d<\/em> by Andrea De Sica, winner of the Best Actress award at the Rome Film Fest and in cinemas from March 19, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wildside<\/strong> has also established itself in the TV series landscape, producing for HBO “The Young Pope”<\/em> and by Oscar winner Paolo Sorrentino; “My Brilliant Friend”<\/em> by Saverio Costanzo, based on Elena Ferrante’s tetralogy; writer Niccol\u00f2 Ammaniti’s television debut \u201cThe Miracle,\u201d<\/em> which garnered great public and critical success; the first and second seasons of \u201cMafia only kills in summer\u201c<\/em>; the first TV series written, directed, and starring Antonio Albanese, “I Topi”<\/em>; Luca Guadagnino’s series “We Are Who We Are<\/em>“; “Anna”<\/em> by Niccol\u00f2 Ammaniti, and the winner of the Berlinale Series Award 2023, nominated for Critics Choice, “The Good Mothers”<\/em> directed by Elisa Amoruso and Julian Jarrold.
