A small community of scientists, unreachable for eight months of the year, looks to the future of the human species, searching for things it still doesn’t understand. It doesn’t know. It’s unaware. The arrival of Maria Medri (Barbara Ronchi), a wild and stubborn genius, at the most isolated base in Antarctica, will put a strain on the projects of mission leader Fulvio Cadorna (Silvio Orlando), her mentor.
